The village of Greenhaugh lies in the beautiful Tarset Valley located in the Northumberland National Park. It is a good base to explore the area by foot, cycle or by car.

A short journey away is Kielder with its many attractions including the observatory and the largest man made lake in Europe. The border Reiver country, Hadrian's Wall and Alnwick Gardens are just a few of the places of interest which are all easily accessible.
